Costner in Tacoma, Part II

· Posted Monday August 13, 2007 by jamie

Part II of ThriceAllAmerican’s journeys with Kevin Costner in Tacoma:

After the Java Jive visit, Costner was ready to get down to business. And the first order of business involved a certain neglected Art Deco ferry hiding away in one of Tacoma’s waterways. That’s correct, it seems Costner had taken an interest in checking out the Kalakala. It wasn’t immediately clear to me, but I only speculate that he was considering a purchase, and wanted to check it out. And check it out he did…

Unfortunately, he didn’t seem to happy with the condition of the craft. And I can’t even begin to fathom why he insisted on carrying around that harpoon…

Tomorrow: We briefly fear for our lives…

Send pictures of your Costner sightings to costnerintacoma(at)thriceallamerican(dot)com. We’ll feature some of the best later this week.
