Say It Ain't So, Ed!

· Posted Tuesday July 10, 2007 by jamie

Word over on Ed Murrieta’s TNT food blog is that Faith Dairy is closing down the dairy (and drive-thru) on South 72nd and will be moving completely to Roy. The dairy, honestly, is one of the coolest connections to Tacoma’s agrarian past, and it’s always a joy going through the drive-thru. Here’s hoping that the Roy dairy will continue to produce dee-licious milk and we can continue buying it in the glass bottles at Stadium. Bottled milk equals better milk, IMHO. If you’ve never been to the dairy, or want to go on one last time, you definitely want to take Ed’s advice and go this weekend…

Update: More info at TNT’s Biz Buzz doesn’t look good, the Faith Dairy operation appears to be shutting down completely. Apparently all the cows are being sold and this is the last weekend they’ll be open. Definitely sad news.
