Capers. Open. Good.
· Posted Tuesday June 26, 2007 by jamie
Just got back from a trip down to Capers, at 8th and Pacific, with a coworker who knows the owners. We were customers number 5 and 6. I unfortunately had brought a tuna sandwich for lunch today, so did not partake fully, but I couldn’t resist a cup of white chicken chili and a chocolate chip cookie. The chili was great—creamy, flavorful, and with nice big chunks of chicken. The cookie was also good, so you can add this to my “afternoon snack” list. I’m looking forward to going back and trying their sandwiches. Also, apparently they will be selling some of their take-home meals that they currently sell in Proctor, as well as serving up hot dinners, in the future, so that is something to look forward to. Based on these early impressions, Capers is much-recommended.
