A few interesting things going on tomorrow, Saturday:
A. Dragon boat races! The First Annual Chinese Dragon Cup Festival at Thea’s Park, Saturday, May 12th, 8:30 am-3:00pm. Come watch over 20 of the top Dragon Boat teams of the West Coast as they compete in races on the Thea Foss Waterway. Enjoy an exciting family friendly day! Chalk artists, food vendors, more…
2. Scott Pierson Trail Dedication! 9am-1pm riding along the new commuter trail with a 10am ribbon cutting. Get yourself geared up (ha!) early for Bike to Work Week! (More details available through the Tacoma Wheelmen’s website.)
iii. Cool Stuff, Pretty Cheap! That’s right, another auction at Cool Stuff, Pretty Cheap on Fawcett. Preview starts at 1pm, auction at 6:30. Check out the items available here. They’re selling a church pulpit. How awesome is that?
