Dia de los Muertos
· Posted Thursday November 2, 2006 by jamie
Some higher power smiled down upon the Sixth Avenue Dia de Los Muertos celebration tonight, where the rain held off for nearly an hour and a half and no one had to get wet.
The puppets and costumes were awesome, music was great, good times all around. Especially enjoyed the giant devil and the Dead Elvis.
If you missed it, check out the one down at the Art Museum on Sunday…details at Tacoma Works. I’m sure a lot of the same puppets will appear.
Give me a camera at night and the results are pretty spotty…here’s my sorry excuse for a picture.
