Downtown-At-Night Fest 2006
· Posted Wednesday November 1, 2006 by jamie
As if anyone who reads this site isn’t already reading Exit133, I wanted to cross post about the challenge to get out on the town on the night of Thursday, November 16th. The idea? Get out and prove that if restaurants downtown stay open late, especially those in the Theater District, people will come, especially on nights when people are attending performances at the Pantages, Rialto, etc.
Honestly, I’m a little bit scared of 3 Mo’ Tenors. I love opera, but for me such acts have an innate cheese-ball factor that does not to opera equate. Granted making fun of it afterwards might be fun, but not at $30 per ticket for the cheap seats. So here’s hoping for some live music at Ground for Coffee, er, Tully’s. And maybe a progressive pub crawl…wine at Vin Grotto, beer at Meconi’s, and a tequila chaser at Matador… Something for everyone here. Let’s make it work!
